From the place I make my bread

I was driving home yesterday. A car flew across the median and my first instinct was to stop immiediately to make sure everyone was ok. miraculously no one was hurt and the car was still drivable. There was only a young man and woman in the car, but they where obviously shaken up. their legs were shaking and they were so thankful that I had stopped. It makes me feel good inside when I'm able to stop and use my knowledge to help people out like that. I ran out in the road to get the tread that had been left there from the tire of a truck. I'must glad they didn't get hurt. I wish I would have invited them to come and meet my wife though. they were a new married couple and I liked them immediately. They invited me out to eat with them and I told them that I couldn't because I was headed out with my wife that night. I passed up the opportunity to make a couple of new friends...That kind of weighs on my mind.
